SPANISH AMERICAN POLITICAL TEXTS ONLINE

The purpose of this online resource is to highlight the extensive holdings related to the history and culture of the Spanish speaking American nations in the collections of the University of Minnesota Libraries, by making accessible to the general public selected texts from or about Spanish America.

In order not to duplicate similar efforts at other institutions this digital library will focus on texts related to political theories and political projects in the domains of the Spanish Monarchy in America from 1492 to 1898, and in the Spanish speaking American republics. All the texts included are in the public domain.
